Amanda N. Gonzalez has been promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Gonzalez is a pharmacy technician assigned to the 628th Air Base Wing at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. The sergeant has served in the military for five years. She is the daughter of Kevin L. Napper of Hard Scrapple Road, and Jason L. and Vicki L. Sears of Hills St., all of Wellston, Ohio. Her husband, David, is the son of Mel and Gilbert Gonzalez of Gorgonio Way, Moreno Valley, Calif. The sergeant graduated in 2004 from Wellston High School, and received an associate degree in 2010 from Community College of the Air Force.
