Daniel McCrillis has been selected for promotion to the rank of Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. McCrillis is an instructor boom operator assigned to the 54th Air Refueling Squadron at Altus Air Force Base, Okla. The sergeant has served in the military for seven years. He is the son of Myra and Jon Cree of McGraw Marathon Road, Marathon, N.Y. McCrillis graduated in 2002 from Marathon Central High School, and received associate degree in 2009 from Community College of the Air Force.
