Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. John R. Witzke has been named Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter for 2009. Selection was based on the individual’s exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork, significant self-improvement, personal achievements, notable accomplishments, and community service and support. Witzke is a C-5 aircraft flight engineer assigned to the 512th Airlift Wing, Dover Air Force Base, Del. He has served in the military for 28 years. He is the son of George M. and Ginger G. Warnecker of N. Northridge Road, Valdosta, Ga. His wife, Anita, is the daughter of Alice K. Lovett of Shore Road, Baltimore, Md.
